Do you kill if someone beg you to spare them?

like those unarmed newbies along the coast, if they beg you to spare them over voip do you still kill them?

what if they try to lecture you about your behavior and that it is bad?

Well seeing as people play, i turned from survivor into a "Btch i'll fuck you up as soon as i see you.". Just like the douche from 5min ago, i spawned got into elektro and got sniped even though i didnt have a weapon.

Now other then that dude, aslong one does not have a weapon i will not kill, all others will be shot unless asked if friendly but noone does that so theyre dead.

well, if i have good loot and I am inland, like say...stary sober, and someone begs me to spare their life- no, i would shoot them on sight.

but unarmed players on the coast...yes, i would never kill them. If you kill an unarmed man it makes you an asshole. not because you killed someone, but because sometimes its a pain to disconnect-reconnect and spawn in a decent location. So if you kill someone with nothing to gain for yourself, it means you are a jerk.

its kind of the equivalent of beating your wife...does hitting on a defenseless woman really make you feel like a strong man?

i don't kill newbies, waste of good ammo, and belive it or not, most people don't even respond back to me when i talk to then, to either ask for alliance or to simply beg me not to shot from a sniping position.

My standart is this, "No response for me? A nice bullet you eat".

They can't really lecture me if i let them live lol. To kill newly spawned is just a waste of ammo imo, if you have a gun it usually means youve been alive longer then 10 which means you got maybe some food or drink which means death.

I don't shoot except in self-defense, but if somebody immediately thought I was a bandit and started begging, I'd probably just relieve them of their pathetic existence...at least for 30 seconds. Can't respect somebody with no backbone.

This game, unfortunately, is now full of scum who kill anything that moves, including unarmed players, either for sport or for loot. As this continues, otherwise good players are tempted to shoot first and ask questions later. Why wouldn't they? The world is full of assholes, and it's best to assume they all want to kill you.

So now, you spawn unarmed in a world of enemies. What kind of game is that? It's masochism. Those with weapons are able to enjoy the game. Those without, well...I'm one of those. I spent 36 hours trying to figure out how to get out of debug hell, only to come back to a game that is unplayable because of selfish players.

Rocket didn't ruin this game. The players did.

If you use silenced weapon, you will just lose 1 rare bullet for nothing. If you use normal weapons, you will also reveal your position.

Up until my Holiday and 1.7, I have never fired first, and no one needs to beg me for life, I prefer to leave other players to exist.

The problem comes down to this: there's no reward for letting someone live, and there's no way to add that to this mod. If it were real, people would have to stick together. The cop who can shoot handguns needs the mechanic to repair the car and the medic to tend the wounds and pilot to fly the chopper and the locksmith to get into the building without making too much noise, and so on. In the game, it's for the fun of pwning noobs or however you want to phrase it. If it were real, you'd probably put a bullet in your head to escape the misery of your situation.

That's the real trick with trying to make this a realistic survival mod. We all now it's not real and few of us will react as we would if it were real.

It would be cooler if instead of killing them, you stalked them, waited for them to find food or something else you needed then you kill them for it. Luck hunting people. At least there would be a reason for it other than whatever overcompensation complex you are going through right now
