DayZ Stopped Working Error

As the title says I am getting this error message when I try play DayZ. It lets me get to the server selection page and as soon as I attempt to join one the game crashes. This wasn't happening before the recent update and I was playing fine before it. Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions to fix it? Cheers

1 possible fix.

 

You need to re-update your game.

 

You do that manually through steam, cant remember how but there is a way to redo all patches for any game through steam.

 

That is your best chance.

It seems its just certain servers. I tried a couple of other servers with no luck... then tried one more and it worked :) So my advice is just try different servers.
