Suggestion for Bandit Skins.

Recommended Posts

I am not sure why it hasn't been done yet, but why not simply allow when a user restarts their games to have a bandit skin and pick being a 'bandit' or survivor.

Now, you might say 'Well they can just pick survivor and lie!" Well, if you say that. You got more problems to work out. Even survivors lie, and kill others, but at least at this point you will give some people a choice and be able to tell 'This person is a bandit' and 'That person might NOT be a bandit.'

You wouldn't be punishing any individual player as you are giving them the choice to pick the skin. They take the risk and become the bandit target they should have always been to begin with, allowing the survivors to communicate and work together better. As Bandits have a major one up in this regard. People who simply choose survivor skins and kill survivors are generally bad bandits who camp Chenro/Eletro and always end up dieing anyway.

'Oh then people will just shoot the bandits more.' Yeah? No Shit, that's kinda the point? Are you not going to shoot them? Don't use the skin then.

Having the choice is nice and really does nothing but offer a variety back that the majority of the players would like to have.

I would love to hear some feedback and suggestions. But this is ultimately I believe the best way to keep people from getting the bandit skin from defending themselves, give the option to the bandits who want the skin to have it, its a comfortable compromise.
