Loss of colors

Recommended Posts

So I got hit a few times but managed to survive with bandages, as a result of the damage done the colour is now not so "bright" or "vibrant" as it is when you spawn. Could be the fact that I almost starved to death at one point! however now I'm at full health and blood  (i believe) because i have eaten food and been drinking water for a loooong time and have maked sure that I was full on everything (the message that pops up when you are full). you should start regen blood and hp when you are full on food and water but how long does it actually take to regen it all? I have not changed any settings or so, the actually gameplay is alot less colourful than the character in the inventory screen.

This is my biggest problem with the UI.  I have the same problem and I'm sure it's because I'm low on health, but I just spent 2 hours sitting in the woods after drinking 2 canteens and eating an inventory full of food and I'm still grey.  Absolutely no indication of if I gained any health or if something else is causing it or anything.  There's no good reason to not have indicators for when you're full if you're going to have indicators for when you're hungry.  All it does is make playing the game more frustrating.

You are so right! It's really frustrating without some sort of indicators

Yeah, I believe there should be some kind of general condition indicators as you pass 'health' milestones, either via your condition improving or declining, at the least.

I know the UI is one thing that the team are currently looking at though, it's something that Rocket isn't particularly happy with right now.

Alphers gonna alph.

That's heartening to read and of course it is indeed just alpha.  It seems like something that should be relatively easy to implement and is desperately needed- I hope they make it a priority.
