Constantly hearing zombies where ever I go. Is this normal?

It's like there are invisible glitching zombies around me all the time. Anyone else hear them?

This is a known issue.

I think it has something to do with the zombie spawns they haven't activated yet, when you walk by maybe you're walking by a position one should be spawned at.

Actually think they are under the map in some places. I stopped to take a drink in the woods and got clobbered twice by something.
