I went into a barn, had a enfield with 3 mags and was all was going well...I found 3 more mags in the barn which I put into my backpack, and smiled from ear to ear! Then I look behind a pile of hay, oh joy!!! A CZ!! so I put the CZ into my backpack too... But then I saw it hadn't any ammunition, nor were there any nearby, so decided to drop it and just keep the Enfield.

I noticed that the CZ had taken over the space in the backpack that the Enfield ammo occupied, so I looked after the ammo, thinking that it'd might have dropped.

Nope...The ammo dissapeared out of thin air, same did the CZ...I came in with 3 mags of enfield ammo, found 3 more, lost 4... I cried on the inside :'C

My first FML moment in this game...

Had 8 days alive, 600 zombie kills. Had a M4A1 CCO SD and an M16A4 ACOG and everything -GPS and RF. Work my way back from the NWA to a clan controled area. Clan leader is the only person to not know I was there. Blasts me with an entire M1014 mag before I could even utter a word to him to stop on TS. FML

Too many FML stories to list, hoping this game will be better by the time my D3 fix is done in 6 months. Shame they released this in alpha.

Take 1: some hours survival, all alone. See someone, decide to get close but not overall threatening, tried calling friendly couple times, put weapon face down. Murdered.

Take 2: some hours survival, all alone, finally a map and compass. See someone, decide to get a bit in the open from range so they can see, weapon down. Yelled friendly couple time. Murdered.

Take 3: 10 minutes survival, enter a building to check for loot (I nearly always call friendly when entering buildings). Murdered.

Take 4...

Take 31: Long ass time survival, arrive near the NE airfield at night. Take 20 minutes at night to check for sniper and overall situation. Finally get close to hangars keeping tower obstructed but not threatening (walking weapon down at first, then crouching as getting close). Briefly see someone on my right, stop, salute a couple times and call out. Shot in the face after 5 seconds.

And yet after all that, I still don't shoot first! Go figure.

I wonder however if people realize that survival of the fittest (apparently a lot of people's motto) does NOT mean you kill EVERYONE on sight, it just means you survive EXTERNAL factors (ie: zombies, starvation, etc). Otherwise it's called extinction :)

Went from the ashes to the fire the first day i started playing DayZ. I was running around Solinicy, was pitch dark, had around 10+ zombies on my tail. All of the sudden i spawned inside a small house with at least 12 bandits. Sever went down quickly after.

We found a UH-1H at the Gorka gas station. We repair it after about one hour and our pilot gets a lag-spike and he slams down into the ground.

A guy shooting me through a wall while proned out and using third person view to see over the windows and then hiding my body and disconnecting so I couldn't recover my gear. (He disconnected so my 7 friends wouldn't get to kill him.)

Lost an M240, 5 belts of ammo and NVG's.

Hey, you know what sucks? Figuring out how backpacks work, filling it with gear for you and some guy you've been traveling with for about half an hour, and then rounding a corner he was hiding behind and having him shoot you in the face with his AK. I just got my Lee too.

This happened about 20 minutes ago, i had pretty rare gear. DMR, ample ammunition, same for my m1911, most of the tools like binocs/compass etc.

go into elektro, open door, door kills me.

spent 3 hours getting gear.

Well....Just thinking what happened to me boils my blood.

I was in the Barracks south west of the airfield, checking through the that 5 or 6 room building. I moved to the last room (had awesome gear plus 10 hours of gameplay), I started to hear shots so... i crouched and was peaking out of the window to see what as going on. After a few seconds of shitting my self and panicking, A FUCKING GUY SPAWNS IN MY FUCKING ASSHOLE AND KILLS ME! All i seen was a arm popping up out of no where and covering my screen.

I just had to be in the wrong room at the wrong GOD DAM FUCKING time. FML

Hope the guy who killed me enjoys having sex with my gear.
