Getting Dropped by my internet connection, only to respawn dead :(.

Got disconnected while checking a tower in the worst place possible, logged back in to be dead, someone shot me. (don't know if this happened when i joined or when i was timing out)

I was opening the doors in the barracks broke my legs, TWICE the 2nd time i didnt have any morphine and i had to crawl away and wait 2 hrs for a friend to get to me. I had to direct him coz he had no map...god that took for ever my character almost died from no food/water ROFL

Escape from dudes at NW airfield with 2k blood, run to Stary while passing out every minute to meet up with another guy who had food for me. Loot the military tents, get nice weapons and 24 slot bag. Meet some more dudes to go back to NW airfield, and then run into a tree and die.

Spending 3 days collecting the best gear possible, playing EXTREMELY cautiously, acting as if I'm constantly being followed by other players, only to die when I spot someone facing the opposite direction, quickly turn the corner, shoot him in the head then drop to the floor and die as it was apparently lagged out in those few moments.

Being in cherno with sick gear, being very cautious again. My friend alerts zombies, so while he rushes across the large field to the hospital ladders, I play safe and just lay down and tuck myself away into a corner, only for one of the zombies chasing him to glitch through the wall, run me over, killing me instantly.

Picking up a "friend" in the chopper. Then after a lengthy server crash, which resulted in the loss of the helicopter, have him run up and blast me and our other buddy for a DMR. All of this after, healing us with blood packs and being normal for the previous hour or so. Also while on TS with us. After killing us he promptly disconnected TS and the game. I had the DMR the whole time beforehand also. Talk about bi-polar.

I finally had gathered up a bunch of ammo and resources and was going to be good to go for a while. I ran over to a bush near a house and went prone to hide while I went to go pee. There were no zombies or anyone around.

From the bathroom, I thought I could hear zombies, but was mid-stream and couldn't leave teh toilet. Went back to find about 10 zombies surrounding me, which kill me just as I'm about to defend myself/run away. :(

After playing for about three hours and just having cleaned out a village I had a pretty good stock of basic supplies that would last me a while. Then I happened across a downed heli. I knew that there were certain wrecks that would kill me if I tried to enter them, but between the blood loss and the twilight I couldn't see if the heli was green (safe) or gray (deadly). It was too tempting though, so I entered it.

Get to Cherno, turn a corner, ALL but 6 of the zombies I had painstakingly rounded up have stopped chasing me. Go back around the corner, they've disappeared.

Find AKS 74. Get hit by zombie. Notice you have no bandages left. Run deep into the woods so no one will find your corpse. Run 80% of the way back. Get knocked unconscious first hit by a zombie and die again. Run 99.9% of the way back (nw airfield, so pretty far). Breathe a sigh of relief as the place you died comes into sight...

You have not received a message in 10 seconds...

Server restart.

Edit: Oh and today I slaughtered 50% of the group I was in because they were hiding in an unexpected spot. That also sucked.

Dying in N town in general store, when I couldn't turn fast enough when zombies got me through walls, with 4 bloodpacks & all goodies except NVG. Respawn near Balota, getting a lucky sneaking find of AK74 Kobra at the airfield, running for 2 hours sneakily all the way back across the map navigating by stars and moon (I play Chernarus a lot in Arma2) to find my corpse (still intact!), loot my corpse only to instantly loose my suppressed handgun AND the AK74 Kobra AND 4 mags for it because of inventory bug (my mistake)...leaving me with 1 shot makarov in a town full of zombies :)

I guess mine would be playing for over a week cautiously and safely. Living in the wilderness, hitting the outer towns. All tools except the radio. And be one of the first to discover the crashed helicopter bug.

To be fair rocket did offer re-life's for the first few of us, but I figured it's alpha, live and learn. :)

Just got home to find a message from a friend that the helicopter we'd just spent a day and a half fixing up had been crashed into a hill while he was trying to buzz another person.

I never got to see it fly.

I spent probably 4 or 5 hours with one character collecting lots of supplies, playing very safely, running away from gunshots, stayed out of big town and just made sure i did not run into other people. I had everything i wanted expect the NVGs and was happy to have a character that was very well made.

I rejoin a server to carry on doing what I have done but within a minute i spotted a bandit who was shooting at another survivor and like a noob i decided to kill him and ran straight to his body within seconds, which was my second big mistake and i ended up getting killed by someone and lost all my gear. I tried to get back to that city but the server stopped responding...

Annoying but i learnt my lesson!

Last night me and a buddy had someone holed up in a barracks on the airfield. He was moving around to watch the door and I was getting ready to use my rifle to go the length of the outside wall, looking in to each room and hopefully flush him out somehow when I remembered that the barracks have windows.

I switch to the G17, empty G17 mag into window, hear it smash, select grenade, throw grenade into barracks. Quick, clean, albeit deafening. The guy dies, we loot his body, find a butt ton of loot and ride a black hawk into the sunset.

EXCEPT.

The window didn't smash. Grenade is all "sup" while it gleefully bounces off window back into my face while my guy is casually frozen in place staring down at this grenade now rolling towards me and taking his pistol out of his holster instead of booking it in the opposite direction. Profanity is heard over mumble. Grenade goes off, ijswezel is quickly pasted thinly up the airstrip. Friend cannot stop laughing.

Since I am not used to this game's sensitivity I miss EVERY single shot.
