darkglass34 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Ok, to be 100% honest I don't know if I'm doing the right thing here but every time I try to play Dayz with my friends no matter what mod I am randomly kicked and have to reconnect constantly what I do know about the problem is that it is always followed by a message that I was kicked for a random .pbo file, if I could get some help with this problem or a reason it maybe happening I would be incredibly grateful, thank you
haywardgb 129 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) This one is really simple to fix. But you'll need to accept that it's going to take a good few hours depending on your internet speed etc.. 1. Uninstall ARMA completley, that means after un-installing with steam or via the start menu, go into your Program Files folder and locate both Arma OA and Arma folders and delete them. (if you get a message saying this folder/file cant be deleted, may be open by another program blah blah blah, then reboot and try again) 2. Download CCleaner from CCleaner.com and run the registery cleaner tool, run it after each registry clean as it'll find more stuff each time. Do this until it doesn't find any issues. Then reboot your computer. (don't skip the reboot, or else... bad things will happen) 3. Start the install process all over again. If that fails then you might have to run a boot level virus scan. But I've not got the time to explain that at the moment.. So try 1-3 for now and I'm almost 100% certain it'll fix your issues. Good luck Edited December 15, 2013 by urbanskaters

monolith1985 109 Posted December 15, 2013 dont know about the pbo file error message. but i used to get kicked all the time for failing signature check. which means too many mods installed, not giving enough time to read them. so maybe sit in the lobby for a couple minutes before loading into a game? Morgankaines 13 Posted December 17, 2013 I have this problem as well, on an almost completely new computer that has been cleaned well and proper! Experiencing no problems playing other MMOs. And really dislike to install new programs if avoidable, so would like to not have to install CCcleaner if it can be handled in another way. Anyone have any other suggestions, or know what is causing this problem? It happened after about 10 minutes of gaming time, and first there was a count down, with some error message about "no messages seen" or something. It counted up to 62, then just kicked me from the server.. And I did sit in the lobby for a while first, because I fixed my default character, checked out that everything was fine with the audio and video, etc.
