It's the Alpha version of a mod. Shit happens. It's kinda fun to start all over again from time to time though, so look at it as an opportunity!

Oh, and if it makes you feel better, I once died in DayZ with awesome gear, and then restarted and played for a few minutes. When I reconnected to play the next day, my character was back in my previous spawn location, with all my good gear still in my inventory. So errors can work both ways! Don't you feel better now?!?
