Not able to join server because of "Waiting for host"

Hi everyone

 

So i have this problem with a server, my friends can join it (except for one) but not me. This is because when i type in the IP in DayzCommander it just shows me the IP completely greyed out and the ping is 10000 and i cant see the players. I tried joining through DayZCommander but i got stuck on waiting for host (which is quite obvious since i can't even receive a ping from the server). So i tried PlayWithSix and this time it does show the name of the server but it says the ping is 999. When joining the same happends. 

 

This server is running DayZ Epoch version 1.0.2.5 which i also have selected.

I am using 103718 version of Arma 2

 

I already looked for solutions myself but none of them helped me resolve my problem.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The server could be down. Basically if it's gray with an IP you're not connecting to it, and just by looking at your other servers that are lit up you seem to have installed everything correctly.

So my guess is you're really far from it's host, and your connection really sucks ass. Are these friends that are able to get on real life friends, or are they cyber friends?

Well my internet is not bad at all

And my friends live in the same country as me (Holland) and the server is hosted in the UK.

I have tried to join the server while they were playing on the server.

 

So idk....

Okay now the server name is available in DayZCommander but its stil greyed out and still has a ping of 10.000 :
