Playing Day-Z on an IMAC

So, is there anyway to do it?

I know it's possible if I get BootCamp, but I don't feel like paying $100 for Windows XP when I already spent a load of money on this computer to have it not be able to play a badass game.

If I attempted to download it via steam what would happen to my iMac?

My guess is that it would not start, as i do not believe Arma 2 is compatible with macs.

There's a Windows 8 release preview for free.

You can burn the iso onto a disc and install it to bootcamp (or however it works).

No guarantees it'll work with Steam and/or ARMA well though.
