Some wild idea's!

Hey rocket, big fan!

Just some things for you guys to consider, or not :)

- knocking someone unconcious (with or without wounds) with the crowbar or axe, so you can steal his stuff without killing him.

- boobytraps: things like tripwires, alarms, grenades boobytrapped to loot . maybe you can use the toolkit or whatever to dig a pit people can fall in or tie a zombie from a string, releasing him when you hit he tripwire! :) (You could maybe knock a zombie out first with the crowbar and then use him in your trap!)

-bicycles! lots and lots of bycicles!

-Expand on the wild animals, there could be more: dogs, cats, birds, horses, wolves. Some could be dangerous and some helpfull. A horse could be caught and used to carry stuff... Zombies could be distracted by an animal zo so you use them as a decoy...

-maybe change the medical loot to small and larger packages of medical suplies. A small pouch could have a bandage and some painkillers, a first aid box would have 2 bandages, painkillers and some morphine. A medical bag could have 4 bandages, 2 painkillers, mophine, and an epi pen. And a Doctor's bag could have blood bags, epi pen and morphine. Somehting like that. It might encourage sharing and currently i find bandages everywhere, as well as painkillers and morphine no where. The packages could still be bound to plausible locations, little pouches and medical kits in homes, medical bags and doctor's bags only in hospitals and firestations and such...

-It would be nice to experience the "holy shit i'm lost in the woods and i'm hungry and there are zombies" even more in depth, however i do not know if this is possible with the arma2 engine: have the characters piss and defecate, and maybe even trow up! It would be awesome if you had to like, stand on guard while your bro was taking a shit, or that you could drink pee or eat raw meat but had a chance of trowing up and losing blood.

1) Yes I like that idea of knocking people out, gives us an alternative to just flat out killing them.

2) Boobytraps are more difficult to agree on. I like the idea about tripwire flares as early warning detection systems but not grenades strapped to loot. That would just get extremely annoying because every time you found a can of beans someone would put a grenade in it and boom. So I'm 50/50 on this one.

3) While there are bikes in the mod I think there should be more. Possibly more vehicles to to cut down on all the vehicle stealing and murder to get your bus.

4) Totally agree with you on this one as well. More animals, make them more frequent and more important make zombies go after them.

5) I do agree with you that medical loot should spawn inside homes, I mean its only common sense that someone would keep those sorts of supplies inside their house right? I also think other items such as tool boxes should spawn more simply because they are common household items.

Aren't the zombies killing for blood. Dont you think that all those animals got F**KED up and eaten?

1) Yea would be cool if you could do this by hitting a player in the head / back of the head with a Stock Strike, Pistol Whip, Flashlight, Crowbar.

Adding in handcuff (very rare spawn off police / military zombies only and / or zip-tie restraints would be cool as well.

Could knock someone out and take them hostage or whatever. Lots of options there, you can leave them to die with their hands bound, or you can have them as a hostage / prisoner.

Of course so you can grief other players once your "captured" you would have the option to suicide / restart, or you can try to escape if standing (run, but obviously with your hands bound they can easily kill you since you can't fight back), but your captors can keep you from running by pushing / sitting you on the ground which would make it so you can't get up because your hands are bound.

If you do escape someone else can remove your handcuffs with a toolbox or zip-tie with a hunting knife, toolbox, or axe. You can also do it yourself if you find the items in the world (you have to find them in the world to use them because your hands are bound, you can't use the ones in your inventory) this would make it difficult to escape by yourself unless your really lucky and come across one of those before being killed by your captors / zombies. (would have to maybe make those utility items more rare?)

The other option would be sticking with it and immersing yourself and seeing what your captors do with you, I mean they may let you go, you may eventually be able to become part of their group if you stick with it and you get to know each other and they like you, who knows, it could be rewarding sticking with it rather than instantly restoring to suicide or trying to run away and escape when captured with your hands bound.

This type of system could be really cool for robbing someone, or taking someone for hostage / ransom, dealing with someone you don't trust till they earn your trust, really mean way of killing / torturing someone, just lot of fun immersive fun interaction with other players. Could be cool for "end game" pvp war games between groups of survivor etc, the possibilities are endless really.

I gues it would be very hard to implement that but shure is nice to imagine :D

I don't know about zip ties, seems like that might get overused a bit and people would start complaining a lot.

+1 for booby traps.. grenades are rare enough.. it wouldnt be so bad to be able to place a discreet tripwire somewhere, but if the player spots it, they can disarm it (ie if they spot the nade in the empty can) they can step over the wire or disarm

These things would be rare and one use only, and can be removed by the player if they can get away and find a item in the world to use, like hatchet / hunting knife / or toolbox on the ground, since they can't use the ones they possible have on themselves due to having their hands bound. Or another player can remove them for you with the same tools mentioned above if it is zip-tied, if its handcuffs it is toolbox only.

It really isn't any worse then just getting killed for your stuff like you do now, in fact it would be better because you would have a chance to get away alive with your stuff or at least some of it. If fact it only adds to the game because you can experience some emotions, feelings, thoughts, immersiveness, gameplay options that you can't find in any other game. Imagine the Day Z stories you could hear with something like this.

And if the person that catches you in this situation is trying to troll / grief you, you can just suicide and it wouldn't be any different then it is now. Without this type of option they would just kill you and take your stuff anywho.
