Whenever I try to launch DayZ from steam, it gives me this error and I cannot play the game. I can use DayZ commander to play it, but I want to use steam so I can have the in-game overlay for maps and other things. I am using Arma II free and Operation Arrowhead, So I cannot just copy the addons folder over. wat do wat do

Besides having the full game make sure the beta is installed.  You'll know if you have it if the following folder exists: \Expansion\beta\expansion

sounds like beta patch problem to me, do as above :)

I tried doing that, I've got the beta patch and everything but the error still shows up and I can't play it. I can go past that error but when it's loading up, it crashes and says "Cannot load world 'ca\chernarus\chernarus.wrp'". It's been saying that since the beginning though.
