Error battleye initialization failed?

I bought arma II combined ops from steam yesterday fully installed the game, got withSix to launch and tried joining a server but I get the error battleye initialization failed. I tried manually re installing but there is no folder for battleye.dll in my arma II OA folder. Please help I really want to play this game.

You need to launch the games once, just load to the main menu and that'll be enough.

Ive launched the each game at least once. Should I just let it sit?

BattlEye installs when you install A2/OA but doesn't update properly until you launch the games once, run A2 and OA once on their own until you get the main menu screen.

After that it should just work :)

Richie I tried that already. I even specified in the last reply.

Try joining a server and wait in the lobby, don't join until you see the BE message and it should then initiate and update if needed.
