You wouldn't, sometimes you will be assigned as one of the camp guards or a body guard of one of the commanders. But other thant that "fresh meat" is not trusted to walk with guns inside the camp.

If you'll attend to the "first day" event you'll start as a soldier, and then you won't have any limitations.

The "first day" event is moved to the 28th of June, because only 6 players attended to it and it didn't worked out quite well P;
