Help Bring Back Taviana Servers! (Taviana Revival)

I believe Taviana to be one of the best DayZ maps. The uniqueness and work put into this map is quite something else. I'm talking about the original Taviana (Taviana 2.0 http://dayztaviana.com/), not the DayZ Origins crap Taviana spinoff (Hillside glitched city anyone? Ugh). 

I've had so many unique and fun situations/deaths on this map, I only wish I could see it return to the glory days. As it stands, only a few servers host Taviana maps, and they are somewhat empty or not as well done as they could be. The PVP is great, and the survival is as well. It has always felt like a good mix to me.

 

Here is a short video simply showing off how the map looks and is. There's quite a lot of unique buildings! Examples of this are a racetrack, malls, a HUGE bridge, and even a stadium. I don't believe this map should be wasted like it is now. I hope some people decide to set up some Taviana maps and even encourage others to play on it. If you haven't played on this map already, I HIGHLY reccommend it. Any server hosters who haven't tried this map, I also encourage you to try it, and if you like it, consider hosting some servers on it. I remember Taviana. I had such a good time there when I was on a mountain sniping down onto the airfield. Good times <3

Me too. I want to see a revival of these maps, as they are pretty unique. Chernarus has just gotten way too old for me, and there's no populated fun maps with decent servers.

Most Taviana hosts that i know have switched to using Epoch Taviana, It still uses 2.0 but with the extra and optional features of Epoch :)

Treat it like Epoch or Taviana, It has the best of both worlds.

You'll need the latest Epoch files and Taviana 2.0 then in your launch parameters add -mod=@Taviana

I gave Taviana a try, didn't much like it. I think a lot of people are with me on that too, but oh well! 
I think once people see how bad SA will be, they'll come back to DayZ, and more servers will show up, or when Epoch dies down. ;3
