Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 24, 2013 Yeah, I'd have to agree. Nothing comes close to Fraps and Dxtory IMO.
frostknivez 29 Posted November 24, 2013 its poor quality wise thats why its good on performance ;)Poor quality WHAT?I recorded ArmA 2 at 1920x1080 at 60 FPS using ShadowPlay and barley lost 5 FPS.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaGFNAKuI3c <---- That was a video recorded with ShadowPlay... I even used handbrake to make the file smaller and the quality is still gold.
flygamer1 176 Posted November 24, 2013 Nvidia Experience is a waste of time IMO.Pfffff free recording software that is 10000 times better then dxtory and fraps, I got them all three and take shadowplay over them any day. Not to mention awesome game optimization.
SmokeyFTM 55 Posted November 25, 2013 Each to his own i think, everyone likes different shit and most get comfy with a certain thing and wont change no matter what, ive tried all 3 and IMHO Dxtory is only a lil better than fraps because it doesn't hog the pc as much, and shadowplay is great if you leave it on manual otherwise it constantly records and can slow shit down just as much as fraps. fully 51 Posted November 25, 2013 its poor quality wise thats why its good on performance ;)If that is the case your system is poor! It records what your video card is displaying! Dont understand how you say its poor.

Not to mention awesome game optimization. Ah, yes, The awesome game optoimisation that thinks it knows better than I do. PlanetSide 2... Apparently I should be running maxed out with graphics detail set to low and render distance maxed out. That sounds about right. Honestly, you're better off just 'optimising' your games yourself.
