Skigh 0 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Hey guys! As you can see in the title I am repetively being kicked from servers in DayZ. Other players were able to tell me that the message 'Skigh (...) Signature Time Out' was shown after I got kicked. I tried looking for a solution on these forums (it appears to be a BattlEye related problem) but none of the possibilities worked. The strange thing is that DayZ did work perfectly at my other place so i think the problem is with my current router. I read on this site that it could have been the MUT settings for my router (cisco).- I tried to change it manually(according to Microsoft) than reboot-I used the TCP Optimizer application to do the same, than rebootNeither options worked so i am kinda desperate now, i really hope you guys can help me out! -Skigh Edited November 19, 2013 by Skigh
hughes64 0 Posted November 30, 2013 Same problem! :(
TIC 1050 Posted November 30, 2013 This can be due to either firewalls, unstable internet, an unstable computer, or corrupt files. If you have your files through Steam, go into your Steam Library and then right click on Arma 2, go to Properties, go to the "Advanced" tab (the third tab), then hit "Verify Local Files" or something similar, and let it have it's go. After that, do the same thing for Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. I recommend using DayZ Commander for the following: Go into your DayZ launcher, and look for an Install/Update option to install/update mods. Now find the Arma 2 Beta, and then hit "Reinstall" near it.If there's no reinstall, you may have to uninstall and install the beta. Now find the mod files in the list, and hit "Reinstall". If it's not there, do the same with the Arma 2 beta patch mentioned above. This should fix any client-side issues. Before you join any server, wait within the server's lobby for a minute before starting up.
