Connecting to server problem

This has started about 2 days ago but when I try to join a server on dayz epoch it lets me in on the screen where I can see who is playing but when I click connect. It loads and almost gets the then end then it just freezes. I have to open task manager and it tells me that arma 2 stopped responding. I have re installed arma 2, arma1OA, dayz commander and dayz epoch in dayz commander.

Open ArmA WITHOUT DAYZ, go into multiplayer, and start a local game, then run around for a few minutes. Exit, turn DayZ back on, and try again. This problem is completely normal, extremely common, and has a stupid fix. :)
