Hearing loss?

I passed by someone in a hallway, which ended up breaking my leg since there wasn't enough room for both of us...But I also lost my hearing, how do I get it back? (I can hear, it's just a lot quieter than normal).

Definitely an interesting bug in that nothing you do will increase your volume, including the audio options menu and your OS volume mixer.
