Major perfomence problems

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm having major performance problems.. I usually have 30-40 FPS, as soon as I come near a city or even move my view to it, it drops to 15-20.

I logged in today, zoomed and my FPS dropped down to 5-10 and didn't get back up. I tried a relogg too, but didn't work.

My ingame settings are 1920x1080, the other settings are as low as possible, video memory default. The parameters I'm using: -mod=@dayz -nosplash -world=empty -maxMem=2047 -cpuCount=4 -winxp -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion

Yes I'm using the newest beta patch and DayZ 1.7.1.5.

My PC:

Win7 x64

Intel Quadcore Q6600 2,40 GHz

3GB RAM

MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II

Reinstalled my PC two days ago, didn't help anything. I also tried all of the performance tweaks I found via google.

Help would be great, game is mostly unplayable for me!

Well, that answer wasn't really helpful, I want to play DayZ, not normal ArmA :)

And the FPS problems are there on every DayZ server..

But thanks anyways!

Are you running steam in administrative mode?

Does this happen on every server or just one?

Your GB of Ram might be a bit low. You may need to upgrade.I don't think 3GB is enough.

I know the single player game of Arma2 and OA require only a gig, but the mod is a lot different and more demanding.

I know on my eight gigs, I use roughly 30% of my ram just on Day-Z.

Also, why are you using the tag -world= empty.

Only Tags I have on are...

-beta=Expansion\beta;ca;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ;ca -nosplash -window

Hey,

my G19 display says my RAM is only used like 50-70% while playing DayZ.

And I'm using the parameter cause I read it may increase the performance.. Or atleast the starting speed.. And I don't really need the background in the menu!
