success creating fire place... but it's not created at all.

I need fireplace, low blood and need food... Made a fireplace, 'fireplace succesfully created' (or something similar) message apears in my screen but the fireplace isn't there. I really need to cook some meat!

Made my first attempt with 1.4.6 and though it was because of servers problems or whatever... tried with last patch (1.4.9) but had the same problem.

The fireplace will be hidden in the grass around where you places it, 3-5 meters away

I saw that in another thread, and tried again spining around looking for it, but I cant found it! Tried in other surfaces getting the same results... I'll try again, if cannot get the fire place, I'll wait for a friend to connect and move to my position to help me...

You can only place a fireplace once. If you dont pack it up, you cant create another until you go back to the player slot selection screen

Just place fireplace again and go prone, crawl in a circular area to flatten the grass, and you will find it

that's exactcly what I did, and the bastard didn't apeared... I can give it another try, but I'm afraid I'll die alone and hungry...

I've had this happen, looked around for ages, I think it clipped into the ground too far, they are fairly flat.

yea, but fortunately you only have to go back to the slot selection to get it back.

you have to place it on flat ground. I tried to place it uphill and it disappeared but when I placed it later on when I was on flat ground it came up right infront of me.
