BMARTINS (DayZ) 0 Posted June 21, 2012 First I would like to say that I was a Arma player long time ago and stoped at arma II never bought arrowhead many things demotivated me to buy more of the same and I was tired of being a lone ranger in a scenery battle. I must say I only started to play Dayz in version 1.7.0. And enjoyed the the lone wolf spirit of survival that is well accomplished in this mod. I even managed to survive for some time and get well equiped. Had cooked meat good weapons until i was killed by ... A OPENING DOOOOOOOOR. Omg I know that arma always sucked in close combat and indoor although it was excellent for open door battles but I´m kind of sad after surviving to so many ordeals managed to escape so many tough situations getting crushed by a door I opened really sucks. Any way now I will start in a beach dry as bone and ill avoid doors LOL. :DBY the way walker continue to see though doors open door to kill people hiding in some buildings and they climb ladders better then many living people. Never saw that in zombie movies being walking dead series fan.I know things are being tweaked and this is beta. I just wonder if we will have to pay for this when its finished? ZedsDeadBaby 2287 Posted June 21, 2012 I just wonder if we will have to pay for this when its finished? No. An entire professional team of engineers is going to work on it for a year and then they're going to donate it to you out of the kindness of their hearts in payment for all you've done for them over the years. It will also come with a t-shirt and a cupcake with your name lovingly spelled out in chocolate sprinkles.

SDCowboy85 1 Posted June 21, 2012 Yes we will likely have to pay for it once it's done as their supposed goal is to make this a stand alone retail game. They didn't pull Rocket off Arma 2 and give him his own team for something they aren't going to eventually make money on. The real question is by the time the game goes gold and is fully released, will anyone still care? This game has been playable for so long now and it's not even in beta yet. BMARTINS (DayZ) 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Thanks for a useful answer. If most of the problems are corrected it´s worth buying.
