Spiderz (DayZ) 0 Posted June 21, 2012 yeah so 1.7.1.5? i understand this is a step forward as far as balancing PVP, i have in the past murdered unsuspecting players wielding fully automatic weapons with the makarov.The bandages are a huge concern, standing in the middle of the medical tents in Balota holding a AK cobra and lots of supply, i was unfortunately struck *once* at the site and was struck once 3 hours earlier.this meant i was unable to do anything but give up and die, because i didn't have any bandages.it would be really great if there was a consistent source of medical supplies in one of those tents, say, in the shape of a white box, exactly like hospitals.oh and if we had a combat knife, we could "skin" corpses with clothing and then loot bandages from those.well, thats my feedback.Spiderz. commiedic (DayZ) 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Bandages are really... really common especially in military camps/airfields, hospitals, and grocery stores. 1 trip into a town with no hospital I can find up to at least 5 bandages. Morphine is really the only thing I worry about always having a good supply of. I can go oh shit I am bleeding out and run into a house and other places with a good chance of finding a bandage, but getting a broken bone is much more annoying. Again like people say hundreds of times in these threads... It is a post-apocalyptic survival game. Zombies already have a chance to drop bandages (quite often I should add) and I already think that there is too much basic supplies imo. After raiding a couple of towns stores, a hospital and a couple of military basses I filled two tents up (holds 50 items) with food, drinks, medical supplies and other misc stuff.
