Can't cure infection

Today on I was playing on my usual vanilla server DE397 and i was attacked in a barn by a ongoing horde of zeds 1 of which managed to hit me and caused infection. I  saw that i was infected so after I killed the zeds I took some antibiotics, there was no affect. About 15 minutes later my blood started to drop from the infection I though I cured, so I took my 2nd and last antibiodics also to no affect. I logged out after that and was wondering what to do... Somebody please help me -Thanks Max

After you had taken the antibiotics was a skull showing in the blood icon? Also were you coughing a lot?.

No but my blood continued to slowly drop :/ and no I wasn't coughing

you should have tried with sepsis bandages or wipes before bandaging..i think you must wait to catch actually the infection (all three phases from changelog) before using ABs

No, you were supposed to read the release notes from about a month ago where it told you how to deal with sepsis and what fixes it. That would be antiseptic wipes and Sepis bandages you can craft.

Wow... that's getting a little silly. What's next? The need to go to the bathroom? That would at least give the TP a use. You could wipe after taking a crap and if you don't, you start to attract zedz.

I found it silly as well, however IIRC it was an attempt to balance things after the increase in infected zeds and the rarity of anti-biotics. I always thought it would have been easier to add more anit-biotic spawn locations and or raise the frequency of their percentage, but who am I? 

And if you find that silly, you may not be a big fan of the SA...the whole shoes wearing out thing???

I'm not sure if this was ironic, rhetorical or sarcastic (or a combination thereof), but actually, yes - that's being planned for the SA at some point as part of the infection/hygiene/health system. :p
