Korathias 20 Posted May 11, 2012 Can anyone tell me if there is a way to calculate how much room each vehicle has
worbat 13 Posted May 12, 2012 You see all those cans on the floor that no one picks up. Use then. Keep adding cans untill no more will fit. Problem solved.
Korathias 20 Posted May 12, 2012 Yes and No worbat. You see I want to know if it works the same as back packs. In the way is it a set number of slots that are taken up or a group of slots as in like the backpack
Felix (DayZ) 21 Posted May 12, 2012 Just remember there's 3 item types.PacksWeapons/ToolsAll the restI've not counted out total slots across the vehicles, but pack limit seems to be 2 on most of the civvy cars.Weapons/Tools consist of any weapons, but also include binocs or things that fit down in the bottom slots like maps and compasses. All the rest like car parts, ammo, meds, tin cans and such fit in the general slots. So adding a weapon or pack won't reduce the amount of ammo you can have stored. For reference a tent can hold 5 packs, 10 weapons/tools and 75 general slots. Felix (DayZ) 21 Posted May 13, 2012 I was wrong with this, I'd counted slots of items like you normally would in your inventory and packs. Apparently in tents and vehicles it counts the base items, rather than their slots. Tents have a 50 item count rather than the 75 slot count I posted above. The consistent 75 slots was simply a coincidence.
