BattleEye Ban #38

Hey, for some reason whenever I try to join my friends DayZ Epoch server I get a kick saying "BattleEye Ban #38"

I'm able to join any other Epoch server with no trouble, and the server admin is saying he can't do anything about it.

Is there a fix here before I need to email BattleEye?

Afaik, the GameHack #38 Violation is caused due to having Cheat Engine open. (which is a legit reason for a ban)

Well I don't have Cheat Engine installed, but after waiting for 10 or so minutes it started letting me back in.

You're probably banned by BEC or a similar admin tool for having CE open (BE Kick: GameHack #38).

 

You need to find out wether you're banned on specific servers only or if he's on the streamed/ shared banlist of the used admin tool, in which case he has to contact an admin of the tool.

 

Emailing BE won't get you anywhere due to it being an admin ban (technicially, it's probably streamed across servers via the admin tool).

 

Also, you should be more specific about the kick message... can't tell if it's 100% what I think it is.

It may have picked up another similar program that can execute scripts.

What was your nick name when you got banned, or previous/current nick names in DayZ/ArmA 2/in-game? I can look up if you're on the BEC banlist.
