So i was wondering does optics mode work in Day Z. If you don't know what optics mode is its the ability to use iron sights while having a weapon with a night vision scope.

Yeah you can switch between the sights on some weapons. M16 ACOG, L85 ACOG & SUSAT etc... but for the AK74 with the scope for example it doesn't work.

the problem with a NV or IR scope is that its too bulky to be able to use iron sights on it
