Weapon damage charts

Could we get weapon damage charts and stats how much blood/hp does the zombies have?

Why i ask this? I've shot many times other players with AKM etc. full auto assault rifle from point blank range, sometimes it takes 2 shots, sometimes 5 and sometimes up all to way 30 and has no effect (this must be a lagspike). Most of the time i can one shot kill people with CZ 550, Lee Enfield and Winchester, so is it just something that's wrong with full auto fire & lag?

in my experience a bullet from an AKM to the torso is enough to kill a player. not sure what's going on there in your game, but I do see players teleport all over the place due to desyncronisation. server degradation is what seems to be causing it

At range the AKM can take 2 to kill a zombie. usually 1 centre mass.

5.56 and 5.45 are worthless, IMHO.

Would like to know is this fixed at normal ArmA 2 servers, or is it as bad in there too? it would make it unplayable, alteast for me.

Depends on how much blood they have left at the moment.

Damage is different to normal ArmA, so the AKM doesnt kill a full blooded player in 1 hit, unless you hit the head.

It depends entirely on your shot accuracy, distance, and enemy blood level. I've gotten double-tap kills at ~300m and 1 shot center mass kills at ~100m with the AKM. I've also failed hard and missed/clipped players with 5 round bursts at varying distances. :x

regular servers rarely have more than 40 players and more than 100 AI units at a time, if the rig is decent, it runs any popular map smoothly. DayZ is the first time I've encountered so many issues

AKM is 7.62. you're thinking of AK74?

AKM is 7.62. you're thinking of AK74?

I think he was just saying after that 5.56 and 5.45 are worthless - not necessarily related to the AKM.

And yeah, the AKM is awesome while the AK74 feels very lackluster.

to tell you the truth, I don't measure a weapon's effectiveness by the number of shot it requires to down a zombie. for zombies I have my trusty 1911. your main weapon should only be used to kill humans (unless it's a Winchester, which isn't very good for that)

Merry Christmas. Make sure you set it to "A2 with OA: 1.60" and scroll down to "BulletCore" and look for the bullet you're curious about. Click the very top blue link that says config, it'll show you the hit damage.

9 or above is a 1 hit kill for a zombie.

very messed up the link, someone would have to organize it, and find out what ammunition we have in the dayz
