Trouble with Playwith Six

so basically in the morning I decided id play some dayz, when I try to play, it asks me if I wish to continue without updating, so I chose to update and after the update, I'm unable to join any servers, telling me that I'm on the incorrect version.

 

im not very good with computers so how do i fix this?

I'd recommend DayZ commander. I personally would say it is better then PlaywithSix.

I couldn't get DayZ commander to work, I've had no problems with playwithsix until now. I'd prefer to fix this and stick to 6

What exactly did it update? 

 

It either updated the arma 2 beta patch or it updated the dayz version.

 

if you click on the image of arma2 near the top left corner it should show which beta patch you have installed. for dayz the recommended version is 103718,

 

The Dayz version you need depends on which server you are trying to join. vanilla dayz was recently updated to version 1.8.0.3, but some servers might take a while to update.

Check that you are on the same version as the server you are trying to join.

If you do get commander, be aware, I heard the latest version contained malware. It was from a credible source.
