Did they remove side-channel for good?

I mean, i loved using side channel to tell people whenever i sniped their heads off, they'd go mad, and that was my fuel!

Anyway, the server i played on had the global channels available till yesterday.

My question is: Did the server admin removed them from being usable, or with today's beta patch and 1.7.1.5 they are now completely removed?

I loved chatting while waiting for preys too :P

I played on a 1.7.1.5 server with side chat today, so I'm guessing it was just a server decision, although I was under the impression the forced removal of side chat as part of the mod was in the works.

Personally I love it without the side chat... adds a lot to the game in terms of atmosphere I think.
