We currently avg around 10-20 players on at peak times at night (US times) but have multiple players from out of country (one of the very active admins plays from NZ).

global chat? that encourages only whining

Voip in global gets you slapped by an automated bot, whining via text gets you trolled, but otherwise it is helpful to some people new to the game, and well some people just don't "get" how we keep coming and killing them thanks to what they type in global.  Win - win for me.
