Best dayz settings!?

Recommended Posts

These are my dayz settings, I've been using them for over a year now. I spot people easily and also gives best FPS.

What do you guys think? What setting you have?

Here is link for short video of my settings:

Keep in mind not every has the same build as you, some might not even get 15 FPS with lowest settings possible.

Personally, my settings are:

- View distance: Default

- Quality: Very high

- Textures: High or normal, depending on whether ArmA wants to be a poop.

- Objects: Normal

- Shadow: The lowest without being disabled.

- PPE: Very low

- AA: Disabled

- Resolution: The 1920 one, I can't remember.

Everything else on default or disabled.

you cant tell what settings are the best, thats everyones opinion. Some settings are best for fps, some for spotting players, some for purely graphical enjoyment. I personally run ultra high everything to have the best experience in terms of graphics

If you have a decent system and want the best visual:performance trade off then this is the way to go...

OP - Your settings are completely backwards. All object detail does is eat your FPS without making the game look better and you have it set to very high, while you have everything that actually makes the game looked better set to low.
