Changed Video Settings, now DayZ wont open.

I was screwing around with my video settings and the next thing I know the game crashed. I went to open it through DayZ commander and a black screen would appear but then it would take me back to my server list in DayZ commander. I can open Arma II without any problems so should I just uninstall and then re-install DayZ? Any help is appreciated.

Try deleting your arma config.(not a bad idea to back it up first)

 

depending on whether you launch as admin or not it should be found in either

 

C:>users>(username)>Documents>arma 2>arma2OA.cfg

 

or

 

C:>users>admin>Documents>arma 2 >arma2OA.cfg
