Infected following you

Hi !

I've a question, when i'm hunted by an infected (and of course, without stuff ^^) it seems to be very very hard to escape...

I have to run over and over again.. and hope there will be something blocking them.. or i don't know.

Does someone has a technique or what?

Anyway.. this alpha is making me happy of a great announced mod !!

when you lose line of sight you have to start crouch-running or walking, otherwise you will re-aggro again

What tomo said, find a forest or group of rocks, try getting them to hit trees or other objects and when you think you have enough of a lead on them it's your chance crouch/prone behind a piece of terrain and hope for the best.

Thanks for your replies, as i thought it's impossible in a city, or very hard.

I may improve my .. character durability now^^.

Just run through a building or an open little shack, Or run up a hill you'll get away.

Evading in a straight line is fail, when in a city take every turn you can (not looping back on yourself) This will cut the line of site of zombies and other npc's and multiply the possible places you could have gone.
