Runs fine, till loads in and get Battleeye message about GUID without a toon loaded

Hello,

I just recently purchased Arma 2 and OA. I installed the game and DayZ (note this is from gamestop download, not steam). The game lets me into DayZ multiplayer games, but when I finally get into a game, there is a message on the bottom right corner that mentions Battleeye update successful to 1.156 (something like that) and then mentions the GUID with a whole bunch of numbers and letters. The message eventually fades and then I am left in the middle of nowhere looking at either grass or a forest once. I click restart, nothing happens, I click respawn and the menu clicks off, but again nothing happens. I thought maybe it had to be left alone to update or something or other, so I left it alone for about 15-20 minutes and still had the same issue. I am running up to date on all software (that I know of). I did not use Six, but installed by dl'ing mirrors and placing them in my Arma 2 file. Anyone have any idea? I tried searching through the forums for the past 30 minutes and did not see anything similiar to my problem, because I do not even have a toon to move. Thank you for the help :D

Yeah I'm receiving the same problem and I'm a steam user. Was working previously. Extracted new mod files to same steamApps folder and overwritten old files.

Just loading into a black screen with stars or just some random area if daylight. See hud display icons but no person, can't move, and no backpack. Same fading GUID as well.

I'm getting a similar problem. Everything is up to date and installed correctly. however when I try to load into a server, some error goes down (not too sure what it is ) and I load into a barren map full of meaningless hills. UI is fully loaded, sound is fully load, inventory works, lighting and shaders work. THERES JUST NOTHING in the map. I can load the map in custom editor and everything appears fine there, btu when i try to load the actual thing, i just get a barren map.

Ill try to post a video cature later, but for now im reinstalling the games and going to bed. A little help please, was trying not to make a new thread
