It has already been stated here at the bottom of magnets original post that equipment restores are not available anymore. sorry guys :\.

Was there and can confirm. Lost my M4A3 CCO' date=' couple mags of ammo, my damn big backpack (I'm cursed to never keep one.) Would like my stuff back, but short of that, least a reply about why or how to avoid this happening. Was a full server too, so that's ~50 people who just lost a lot of time and work.

Sadly this isn't the first time this has happened to me. I'd really like to know how this kind of thing is possible. The game is frustrating enough without this kind of stuff mixed in.

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the game, it just feels like I've been cheated out of all the time I put into gathering all that equipment.

What happened: Everyone on the server died and then the server crashed.

Where you were: Running through a field a bit SE of the NW airfield, between Grishino and Kabanino.

What you were doing: Running through a field with some friends planning on hitting up the airfield.

Current installed version: v1.7.1.5

Server(s) you were on: US 104 Chicago running v1.7.1.5

Timeline of events before/after error: Nothing unusual before the error. Logged in with some friends, formed up, exchanged some gear, then headed out only to die a few minutes later. My friends on Vent reported dying as well and soon after I saw a bunch of messages in chat going "WTF" and "OMG" and the like. Just a few seconds later I got a message saying "Session Lost" and was DC'd from the server; my friends on Vent confirmed the same happened to them.

If it's possible I'd appreciate it if you could restore my gear. We found a crashed heli and I got a DMR and about 5 mags for it. Other than that I had an Alice pack, compass, map, binocs, matches, hatchet, knife, a few cooked meat, some sodas, a few blood bags, some bandages, and a Makarov with about 6 mags.

But if my gear can't be restored then I guess I'll have to tough it out. Just sucks because it wasn't a legitimate death. Wouldn't be so bad if I'd been shot or mauled by zombies. And of course the same goes for everyone who was on that server when it happened.

Had the exact same happen on us 131 on Tuesday night, everyone in vent just died, server crashed maybe 5 minutes later.

My boys and I got owned also. I tried to stop it before it got bad, but whoever "hacked" the server just cleaned house before I could react.

Tried to talk to people higher up, but they don't really care. Guess we ALL have to start over.
