AntonB 1 Posted September 29, 2013 Hey, after playing some epoch, i'd like to try the "real dayz" again or at least where finding a vehicle at every corner or every 30 min. isent possibly. Where you cant get fully equipped in Elektro/Cherno and a patrol pack was nice to find. Yearh, i want that real survival of DayZ feeling back. =D Got nothing against plugins like Animated Heli crash or base building. I just want a ACTIVE server with day/night cycle without starting loadout, 999+ and loot tables that makes you stay on the coast. If you know/have a active server with that true dayz feeling (close to GMT+1 or have like 2 hours day, 1 night cycle etc.) Yearh, i cant seem to find any active one with 30+, so maybe you know one? And yearh, i've tried google and found some topics, but most of the IP's dident work. I hope i can get some nice responses with nice server =). Take care fellow survivors, Anton. StrangeOrange 15 Posted October 3, 2013 I admin on US264. We are totally vanilla except that we have a debug. However, the debug only shows blood, humanity, and FPS. Except for that, everything else is normal. Normal loot spawns and amounts, starting gear, heli crashes, buildings, vehicles, etc. Keep in mind that if you haven't been playing for a while, 1.8 is a bit different, mainly in the fact that loot spawns in new places (outside buildings, in busy roads, on dams, etc) and seems to be more abundant. EndEffeKt 87 Posted October 4, 2013 Hmm Vanilla-DayZ...hmm. I just started playing again after months of break. My last version was 1.7.7 and it was a lot of fun. Yesterday I killed my character and started fresh. Was spawning in Elektro and heading for the fire station. And then things got crazy: I found: 2x M141x M16A21x M10141x M4A21x AK-Kobra2x Sidearms In ONE FREAKING FIRE STATION! Server doesnt state something about aditional loot...Is THIS vanilla dayz now? Not sure what im doing wrong but the server I play on is very similar just looking for a better community to play with. Try removing all filters and type "264" in your "search" box. I play there also.. There's a community run TS Server, and the community is pretty solid. There's a lot of cool people and just enough D-bags to make it interesting.
