1.8 Low Frame Rate

I have a problem. A few days ago I updated dayz to the newest version, and my frame rate has been so bad I havent been able to play. on the previous version I could play just fine on very high graphics but now it is unplayable set to very low. I have tried a multitude of things but nothing has worked. Any thing that you might know would be very helpfull.

if anything 1.8 was far better than the last patch for fps.

 

make sure the beta patch your using is "103718" and nothing higher.

I am using 103718 but Im still getting around 4 fps

make sure in your video settings that "hdr quality" is set to normal, might even be worth reinstalling 1.8 if the issue doesnt stop, and lastly try different servers.

 

The one i run has a 4 hour loop restart so it should be pretty lag free, test it on there: Fr 393 / 94.23.200.92:2312

my HDR is set to normal, also how would one go about reinstalling 1.8

Quite honestly im sorry that i dont have a more detailed fix for you, my rig sucks but ive been having a good time with 1.8

 

in commander you an either "reinstall" or hit "info" i belive and uninstall from that window.

 

or ye old manual way of just delete "@dayz" from your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory, once you do this in commander it will say dayz is corrupt and will ask you to reinstall
