Is there a way to turn back on connecting / disconnecting mesages?

Not sure if I changed a setting to turn off the message, but I would like to get the connecting and disconnecting messages to show again.

(basically have had a lot of people who disconnect during firefights without knowing who it is)

Anyone know where this setting is or if it was just shut off automatically with beta patch?

I'm pretty sure its an option in the difficulty settings for the server.

But if you're running a server you should have the logs indicating who is doing what on your server.

The logs aren't that accurate for determining who is logging off during a firefight because they are often delayed and you can have multiple people disconnecting shortly after one another.

What would be the setting in the difficulty option?

It's not in the CFG. This was disabled in the mission file by Rocket.

BEC will transmit global connect notices but, I don't know for sure if it transmits the disconnect notices.

I still see it in the lobby but not in-game.

I would LOVE to have this feature on (or back if it is gone).

Your best bet is to just get BERcon and just watch it like a hawk. I know this is pretty much impossible without a second monitor, but any bit helps.

The only thing I can't get working right now is rcon. :-/

I swear I was on a server that showed connects and disconnects less than a week ago.

They were in red - bottom left corner while playing.
