Add night scope weapons as rare loot chance

As the thread title says. Add weapons with night scopes as rare loot drops for military loot.

As it stands, NVG's spawn in one place, and one place only. That place is a hellhole, camped the hell out of, and server-hopped every single bloody day. Why? Because NVG's give you a massive edge over anyone at night. You become a god.

Night scope weapons, I think, would be a good, tactical addition to the gameplay. Think of it like this: You have an M16. It has the night scope on it. It's completely useless during the day unless you hip-fire it. But at night, it's the difference between stumbling around in the dark with flares, or being able to walk with (relative) ease. Someone without NVG's could theoretically still play at night with a night-vision scope on an assault rifle. They'd be slower, and much less mobile than someone with fer real NVG's, but they'd still be able to play the game without flares.

Not to mention that if weapons with night scopes are added, they'd use the same ammunition as common weapons; IE STANAG magazines and whatnot. So it wouldn't screw with the loot tables.

Right now, NVG's are the most sought-after thing in the game because they appear in one geographic area ONLY, are super rare, and give you a massive edge. Something needs to be added to A) take away the almost invincible advantage of NVG's, and B) balance them out.

Night scope weapons would add balance, and they'd only be useful at night. And completely worthless during the day.

So, what you're really asking for is NV to be more available so you can be on a level playing field with other people who already have NV capabilities?

If every man and his dog had NV, there wouldnt be much point in the night being dark would there?

Dude nvg scoped weapons are already in the game. I found an l85 CWS RISS this one time and it was awesome. useless during the day though
