Hey everyone!  Even though this MOD has been out for quite some time, I finally decided to join the survivors!  I am an Active Duty Airborne Infantry Soldier in the US Army, and I am really enjoying this MOD.  I am still kind of new to it, but I have watched countless videos and read tutorials all about those "first few days" in the game.  I was lucky enough to find a friendly server to learn the ins and outs of the game before moving onto a larger server.  I am not dying as much as I would have thought. So, I must be doing something right!

I have found it a bit easier to head to the hunting stands out in the middle of the forests to get some decent loot at the beginning of the game.  Unfortunately, most of the consumables I find are usually gone/eaten (empty cans).  So, I have to find a better way to stay hydrated/fed.  I need to find the canteen!  I did stumble onto an M4 CCO and an AK74 the other day which was nice!  But, I wasn't able to hold onto them very long.

pretty awesome to find such weapons, its a great feeling in the beginning.

 

find a map and do some proper wayfinding. get to a grocery store or the large pink house.

 

soon enough you will be happy as shit with a lee enfield!

I will have to do that.  I have been in the grocery stores, but not yet in the large pink house.  I'm going to have to check that out.  Thanks for the tips!
