Ok, so say I am playing DayZ Epoch. I go into a certain server and get lute yada yada.

 

If I log out and log into a different DayZ Epoch server will I have the lute I got from the other server?

I believe that most if not all epoch servers are private hives. i.e. - what you do on one server has absolutely no bearing on any other server. (Unless you get globally banned).

On the official (public) DayZ servers your character and gear will transfer from one to the next.

Ok thanks, all those servers say "Official Day Z server" correct? And they are in every specific mod?

"official dayz server" is not neccissarily that...

 

look for similar hosts, like BMRF epoch, there may be 3 servers from them. probably linked.

 

but "BMRF Epoch server #1" and "EPOCH 1000000 cars PVP server" are not linked.
