Just needing confirmation about a recent problem

Recently updated DayZ to the 1.8 patch through Play With SIx.

 

Can't complete login with the usual servers I use without getting plopped back into the start up menu with the error that I have an outdated version of "dayz_anim".

 

I'm pretty sure it's because the servers I generally play on are running the 1.7 version and I have a newer patch.

 

I have successfully logged in to servers running the 1.8 patch with no issues.

 

I've sent emails to the admins for the servers I use about this issue.

 

Has anyone had issues logging in after the server also updates?

Well if you have a newer patch and you are logging on the a server with an older patch its not going to work. Your game has things that the server doesnt have on it.

Here's hoping the servers I've invested in update soon.

 

Here's also hoping to no problems after they do.
