US 28/Chicago 22 Map Settings?

I was playing here and on the map I noticed that I could see both myself and other local players as icons, is this legit? It was happening to another guy I was playing with too, but never seen it before.

Oh and I was getting shot at then I got kicked from the server and logged back in dead, that was awesome.

Yeah we have map icons on. It's a setting.

What time did you come in? I'll look at the logs. BEC might have kicked you for something.
