DayZero PodaGorsk: Friendly Team-Up Gone-Wrong D:

 I have been playing DayZero Podagorsk recently, I had my first encounter with a friendly.

I was looting a small farmstead. I had found a bottle of water and a knife. My plan was to head to the airfield and get supplies. It was here I had my first encounter with a friendly.

<Sees Player Coming From Road> Me: Hey, buddy. Friendly? Him: Hey! Hey! Friendly, I am friendly! I am Friendly! Me: Want to team up? Him: What? My English is not so good. Me: Would you mind if I joined you? Him: OK. That is OK. 

<After Running or awhile, we come across a bridge. An unarmed bandit and his friend are looting a car. The bandit salutes, muffles something over his mic. He then gets eaten by zombieZ. We make friends with the now-deceased bandit's friend. We run awhile, we com across a barn and stop to loot. Mr. Bandito Buddy finds a machete and proceeded to attack me and my foreign friend (He betrayed us). I lose sight of the foreign guy. I spot him in a house under siege by zombies. I yell through the window for him to run around them. 

He is extremely panicked. He screeches "Oh, No! The zombies are coming in!".

I notice machete-dude truing to find us. Foreigner manages to run frm the house back into the barn. He stops to bandage, suddenly, machete-dude runs in and kills Foreigner before dispatching me :bandit: .

A short-lived, yet, exciting encounter. :D

I don't like teaming up with people over direct. If I'm in a good mood, I enjoy running around Elektro or Cherno screaming and teaming up with people, but when I'm solo, I much prefer to meet them, and go our separate ways. When I team up with them, it usually feels awkward and sketchy. Except once. Once I made a new friend, and went through hell and back to get him a bloodbag.

I feel sorry for you guys :( I would've killed on sight the bandits buddy, too risky to team up with bandits friend cuz they were probably talking over skype or ts3.

We wold've kil him if we had a weapon. But we were fresh-spawns with no weaponary. The bandit was alsu unarmed but you can't really kill an unarmed man, even if he is a Bandit. Atleast in my book.

I only had one real friendly situation ever and ive been playing at least a year and a half, it all started with a crashed bus at the electro church on a public hive at least half a year ago. I teamed up with a guy named sibble101 and a dude named cortez. We found parts and had the bus fixed but needed gas. i guard it while they run to collect a jerry can or two. i log to get my mic working and when i comeback no one is there. the bus sat there ominously. i decided to hit the firestation while i waited.  At the firehouse i heard flies, Me and my trusty enfeild would have gone inside but i only had 5 rounds because i gave my other mag to sibble. well i found out cortez's m1014 had pellets when he filled me full of them from his perch on the firehouse where he had shot sibble once the got jerries. I die after putting a lee bullet in his gut, and go to recover my stuff. the bus is gone along with me and sibbles bodies. I see a betty van race dpwn the road. Its in horrible condition beat up body broken glass, and 4 guys jump out. they all have aks exept for one dude with a revolver. They were going to leave as i had no weapon when the pistol weilding one approached me and said hey bravo? trns out it was sibble they picked him up and when he said we were killed my the same ass they took me and left for starry. we got on skype and once in starry we met one of the dudes freind who gave the guys with AKs ammo. we raided starry i found an m4a3 cco and i was designated the medic. one bandit killed and my new hero skin later i call it a night. i still play with some of those guys but that character died from a hackers nuke. oh well. my public hive hero skin ives on, which i like because publics have less of a set communtiy than private hives so more people come and go than privates with a mare stable player base. all in all that was the tipping point that made me stay in dayz as i was going to stop playing because of how its turned into a little kid COD game with shoot on site everywhere.
