DayZ Epoch question + Extremely lucky with a safe

Ok so yesterday I started playing DayZ Epoch. Built my self a small shed and shack :). Really enjoying this mod. I want to buy a safe from a trader but it requires 1 briefcase. Where on earth do you find one? I have checked office buildings and resident buildings but no luck so far. Am I looking in the correct places?

 

Also some extremely lucky happened to me today. I am not sure if it was a glitch or luck. But I found someones base only a shack and 2 locked cars. There was a safe in the shack. I tried guessing the code a few times and I managed to open it :). Then to my disappointment all there was inside was a winchester and a food and ammo :(. That is what 1/10000 of happening. It has got to be a glitch or I get extremely lucky.

A briefcase consists of 10 10oz gold bars. Once you get enough, you can take them to a trader, and swap them for "1 full brief case".

It's actually not that hard. If the server has towing/lifting you can easily get that within a day.

If you want to play on a low populated server, I admin one which has only been up for a few days. We have no PVP (at the moment) so you have plenty of time to gather your gear!

Actually briefcases cost 12 10oz gold bars, not 10. I believe they only hold 10 10oz gold bars, so that means you pay 2 10oz extra for the briefcase itself

Yes keep it, it will save you a good bit of gold, space, and time. Right click the empty briefcase and it should allow you to add gold bars (10oz) to it :)
