Looking for server

Hello DayZ community!

 

i thought i'd come back to dayz and pass some time before the standalone is released ("when it's done!") but i couldnt find an decend public servers. my conditions are simple:

 

- no crosshair or nameplates

- no sniper when i spawn at the beach

- no fully repaired vehicles everywhere

- no bloodbagging myself

 

= just plain simple vanilla dayz fun like it used to be.

 

since most public hive serves seem to have some mod to get you geared pretty soon i figure there's not much sense in trying to do it the hardcore way on one of them.

 

are there an good private hive servers out there that i can get access to and become a regular?

Try the bmrf dayzero servers. I just started with them a while ago, and im a regular now.. their good servers, which almost always has good fps. Dayzero is basically vanilla but a bit better. No retarded 500 car, self blood bag, spawn fully geared crap.. And they also have a few 1st person only servers which are freaky as fuck to play on.. All you gotta do is sign up on their forum page and click on the link they send to your email and you'll be white listed..

That looks like something i might want to try, but seeing the changes the original dayz has had and the announcements for release 1.8... i'd much rather play that instead. :)

Ya I haven't looked into 1.8 yet but hear good things.. I'll def have to check it out when it goes live. Cheers man, hope you find a good server..
