So first off I wanna suggest removing those ass sucking private hives servers. Second, I'd like to remove the acutal system of public servers which allows you to switch up between 1000 servers and log in always in the same place with the same gear. Why ? Because it makes the game cancerously easy and unfair, for example I go to the server where there is no players, and I have a free way to loot eveyrthing at everywhere I want without taking the risk of being killed by other survivor. Once I find the best gear in the game I come back to a server full of people and I have a huge advantage over those poor bastards who are trying to find anything with a whole bunch of bandits behind every bush.

Basically you're whingeing about something that you don't have to do? Remember. Nothing is permanent, for now.

Most servers spawn you with OP gear and your gear won't be carried over.
