HenryTheHermit 1 Posted September 6, 2013 After playing dayzero for a while you really notice the improvement in fps with the short grass. And it still looks nice.. DayZero has implemented many nice ideas/features, and this is one of them. Checking the DayZero files, I saw that they used the GDT MOD Grass Next thing I tried the GTD mod grass myself, locally with my favourite mission from thompsonb, the Flashpoint chernarus mission. I always run this mission with cba, jsrs, asr_ai. And I mostly get an fps of aboud 35-50 (it's a quite demanding mission.) With the GTD mod enabled, my fps increased to 60-90+. Quite an improvement! Would be nice to have this GTD Mod with the Dayz mod. A few reasons: - huge increase of performance.- evens things out for the ppl running full graphics and those who "cheat"by removing the grass- Although less grass it still looks nice, and there still is grass. Have you actually read my post? And have you also read that I did a comparison where I locally did a test with a chernarus mission with and without the long grass, and that there was a huge difference in fps? Anyway, let's stay friends and not fall over words. It's just that I experienced a huge increase of fps using that GTD mod used by DayZero locally as well. That's why i suggested it.
